About Us

I grew up up in Santo Domingo climbing trees, eating good fruit, and running around, in what Jamaicans call a tenement yard, similar to a large farm land where families live together. When I was younger I always tried to describe how I grew up to other kids and I never knew what to call it, until  I made my first visit to Jamaica. During my visit  a man was trying to charge me extra for some food. A man named Elvis yelled, "this mans a yardi!" a person that grew up in a tenement yard. From there I had the revelation, "oh, I grew up in a tenement yard!"  I felt a strong root to my origins since then and I share a piece of that into each photo. On every adventure, walk, hike, motorcycle, or moped ride I've brought back a piece of something to remember that adventure, photos being a part of  the memory.  I hope you enjoy and can share a piece of  love or moment in time with someone else.
